Common counseling questions

Do you take insurance?
I currently take Aetna, BlueCross, BlueShield, Cigna, Evernorth, Oscar Health, andUnitedHealthcare. If you have an insurance plan not listed, I am an out-of-network provider and can provide you with reimbursement documentation.
What is your fee?
Individual sessions are $120 for the first session and $100 for each following sessions. Couples counseling sessions are $140 for each hour session.
What is the first session like?
In our first session, we will talk about what brings you to counseling. After listening to your concerns, we will then write a treatment plan based on your goals which will guide therapy. I often use short questionnaires to assess your baseline and progress over time. I operate a paperless practice and use an easy and secure patient portal.
Do you offer online therapy?
Yes, I am currently offering both in person and virtual sessions.
Where is your office located?
My office is located at 120 East Innes Street, Salisbury NC 28144 in the Heart of Salisbury building.
